As Social Media Manager of Freeplay, I am responsible for curating an ongoing social presence across Twitter and Facebook in lead up to the conference. This includes promoting ticket sales and various deadlines in a timely manner. Throughout the conference itself I Live Tweet the event and make sure our Twitter feed is always up to date with any important announcements.

When I was promoted to Marketing and Operations Manager, I used what I had learnt as Social Media Manager to further expand our reach. This lead to me implementing various marketing strategies for our online streaming events and physical products that were shipped worldwide. While doing this I also remotely organised and managed a staff of three and a global online volunteer network of over 20 people. Working with a large team has lead me to being very flexible in my approach and learning the importance of good communication. Finally, my operations role led to me looking after company account and shipping any merchandise that was bought through our online store.

While I was social media manager at CheckPoint, I created content and managed their Twitter, Facebook and Instagram profiles on a daily basis. In 2019 alone I grew engagement by 140% which was done by analysing past data and using those reports to post at optimal times. Being in charge of all social content lead to me implementing a flexible content calendar, which allowed our content to be scheduled in advance and gave the rest of our team time to adapt if needed. I built up our community Discord from the ground up and established scalable rule set, which is used to this day. Finally, I made monthly engagement reports, which continually informed and refined our social media presence.

Contours Exhibition charted the independent fringes of videogames in Melbourne and Australia. As co producer, I recorded and documented the minutes of each meeting, assisted with the curatorial process and installation of the exhibition and took charge with marketing and social media to raise awareness of the exhibition. I also engaged with artists and conducted interviews, including an array of live In Conversations.

While freelancing, I provided consulting across social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Tumblr. I built up a consistent social presence as needed, alongside planning Kickstarter campaigns which worked in tandem with the created social media profiles. Finally, if needed I provided copy for press releases, blog posts and any internal communications.

As Social Media Manager for GCAP, I created an ongoing social presence across Twitter and Facebook in lead up to the conference. This included posting daily content to engage with users and acquire new followers. My main goal was to promote ticket sales to the two day conference. Once the conference was live, I Live Tweeted talks and other events as they happened. My role as Awards Manager meant I coordinated the judging of over 45 game submissions with over 30 judges.

Pritika helped launch Clockwork by utilising Twitter and Facebook to communicate with an existing and prospective audience. After guiding the game through a successful Steam Greenlight campaign, Pritika continued to raise awareness about the game through communicating with the community, tracking audience trends and using hashtags and targeting tools to continue to grow.

As Co Founder of High Tea Games, Pritika currently works as the producer, head writer and community manager within the team. The team are currently developing their first game, ‘Codename: Project Stone’, a narrative point and click adventure for iOS and Android.
