As a lifelong New Yorker and a proud public servant in New York State and New York City government for nearly a decade, I value driving forward progressive change in the place that I call home. I'm energized by advancing mission-driven policies that have large-scale impact, especially focusing on the nuts and bolts of implementation across vast and complex political systems. I launched my career in LGBTQ advocacy and remain an LGBTQ policy wonk at heart. I've also built expertise in diversity, equity, and inclusion operations more generally. As a queer and non-binary person with Indian, Malaysian, and Italian roots, building systems and workplaces that are equitable, inclusive, and diverse is not only a professional endeavor, but also a personal one.
