I hold a Master’s in Geosciences from Virginia Tech, where I researched the thermochemical evolution of Mercury. I also have a B.S. with honors in Geosciences and a math minor from Penn State University. My expertise spans multiple academic research roles incorporating remote sensing data analysis, high-resource computing, numerical modeling, and coding in MATLAB, Python, and BASH.I am experienced in using various computer operating systems (Linux, Microsoft, Mac OS) and have a solid background in scientific research databases and laboratory techniques. As a multilingual professional, I am proficient in English and Spanish, conversational in Bengali, and have basic proficiency in Hindi.My passion for science outreach has led me to various roles, including serving as a museum docent, the Geosciences Student Research Symposium Chair, and a NASA SCoPE AGU/SciAct Affiliate. I have presented my work at the American Geophysical Union and the Lunar and Planetary Science Conference through poster and oral presentations. I am now seeking a geology or space science scientist position within the federal government where I can leverage my skills and experiences to contribute to impactful scientific research and initiatives.
