Corporate Insurance : Responsible for Streamlining of various insurance process. Responsible for P&I crew claims handling.Ensure smooth repatriation of sick/ injured crew in close coordination with agents and other stakeholders. Ensure timely notification to various stakeholders / DG shipping/ Maritime unions on medical case Appointment of P&I correspondent/agent at port for any medical emergency assistance.Empanelment of PEME clinics Empanelment of hospitals for health checks.Organising health talks and seminar.Timely reimbursement of crew claims.Coordinate with P&I clubs and Port Agent. coordinate with P&I correspondent for smooth medical assistance to sick crew / hospitalized or doctor visit at Port and ensure smooth disembarkation. Handling compensation for Death and Disability cases as per CBA agreement.Handling litigation cases. Design a comprehensive medical insurance program to ensure that all risks are covered adequately. Ensure continuity of insurance contracts.Interact with insurance broker for quote sourcing and placement of various insurance contracts at competitive price and improved terms and conditions. Ensure to obtain competitive terms and conditions with adequate coverage. Interact with different departments for obtaining necessary information required for placement of various insurances. Ensure to carry out necessary endorsements for any changes in the insurance program / coverage.Enrolment of new joiners in the insurance program.Insurance Awareness sessions to familiarise the employees and seafarers with terms and benefits of the insurance plan. Claims Management.To ensure that company claims are process on priority and with the stipulated timelines.Proper Placement of service letter agreement between company and insurer. Good knowledge of Employee benefit policies, Travel cover, D&O , accidental and Life insurance, Fire cover.

Managing corporates insurance portfolio. Negotiating premiums with the insurance companies. Handling clients claim Maintaining claims MIS.

Claims handling of Death cases ( lapsed cases and above 2 years). Claims handling of Accidental rider insurance.
