As the first person in the newsroom from Monday to Friday, I sorted through and compiled the day's top stories. This included writing scripts, fact checking as well as finding video and choosing sound bytes to go along with each script. I then created the lineup for each newscast. I taught English as a second language to students of various ages from kindergarten to adults. I also taught a variety of courses from beginner to TOEFL. In my last year, I worked on curriculum development and creating engaging material for children including writing children's story and creating videos to help with grammar and vocabulary retention.

I presented the hourly news as well as prepared and performed live on the morning show.
