Dr. Shiv Kumar Sharma is serving as Professor in the Department of Management, Dayalbagh Educational Institute (Deemed University), Agra. He obtained his M.Phil and Ph.D. degree from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He had attended the Faculty Development Program in Management (F.D.P.M.) held at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad. Dr. Sharma has thirty five years of enriched teaching experience and in parallel to this, served as member of several academic and professional bodies across various Universities and Institutes in India. Dr. Sharma’s literary lexicon spews of more than sixty of coveted research papers/articles published in revered National and International journals along with three books. His glistening work on ‘Grocery Shopping Behavior of Consumer on Mobile Apps' has been recently published by LAP Lambert Academic Publishing, Saarbrucken, Germany.He has deliberated in a litany of reviewing committees of various national and international journals and is a dedicated aficionado to different bodies of national importance like State Public Service Commissions, AICTE, NAAC and allied academic councils of various universities.The most elegant pearl adding sheen to his strings of achievement is his magnum opus work on“Reflection of E-HRM in the Effectiveness of HR Functions: A Select Study of Information Technology (IT) Industry of India”, fetched him the best paper award in the International Conference on Business Research and Management Practices in Global Environment held at Alliant School of Management, Alliant International University, San Diego, CA, USA on April 2-3, 2015.He has evaluated more than forty of Ph.D. theses, which were referred to him for expert reviews corralled from the length and breadth of the nation and supervised 18 Ph.D. scholars under his tutelage. The trajectory of his academic and research interest spans over a wide and diverse field canvassing Human Resource Management, Power and Politics, Digital Marketing, Environmental Management, Behavioral Finance and General Management. He has undertaken one major and three minor research projects entitled “Education for Holistic Development: Researching for Value and Quality based Education Index (VQEI)”. He has traversed widely and attended seminars and conferences at national and international levels spear heading a number of technical sessions and has been a visiting faculty to pioneer business schools in India.
