Profile bio

About Craig Armstrong

I am a 20-year veteran of environmental science consulting and management and now an associate professor of entrepreneurship and strategic management, specializing in sustainability management. I have skills in risk communication, risk assessment environmental assessments, chemical fate and transport, and air and water quality monitoring, and computer modeling of environmental disasters. I have developed courses in entrepreneurship for undergraduate, graduate, and executive student audiences. Courses I have developed include ideating and pitching a new venture, new venture development, and new venture finance. I develop nearly all of my teaching materials myself and curate whatever I believe will help my students. My teaching materials websites over the past decade have been visited over 100,000 times by people in over 150 countries. Now that I have gained the perspective of an entrepreneurship professor in a business school environment I have new skills to bring to environmental perspectives- and especially sustainability management approaches - to my research, teaching, and consulting to corporations that want to know how to engage in sustainability management. Corporations and other organizations need help in figuring out how to engage in sustainability in ways that create new business opportunities while achieving important sustainability goals; I provide that guidance.

Listed skills include Entrepreneurship, Research, Public Speaking, Teaching, and 18 others.
