There are two dimensions to my work. I am Head of the International Centre for Educational Enhancement at the University of Bolton. Our mission is to help build capacity for school and system improvement with a moral purpose based on personaisation, equity and globalisation. Our work is focused in the area between policy, research and practice.Secondly and linked to the Centre, I am part of the Kunskapsskolan global family working to support and coach school leaders wherever necessary- Sweden, India, Saudi, Netherlands and the USA. I work to inspire and bring capacity to over 30 UK schools inspired by the Kunskapsskolan programme to create greater ownership and personalisation in their schools. This known as the SAIL partnership.
