As Contract Administration Director, I manage the critical delivery for commercial interior projects. This involves working closely with the client representative and project consultant teams to facilitate logistics so that you are 100% confident with the entire fit-out scope. Understanding your business in terms of incorporating future-planning and aesthetic goals must also be matched with practical construction solutions. As an experienced and qualified designer, I work closely with you to ensure this fine balance is achieved. The delivery process is complex and demands focus, astute negotiation skills and the ability to draw the best out of everyone involved—from suppliers and delivery teams through to contractors, consultants and client committees. Great team synergy is paramount to achieving excellent outcomes. It’s this expertise and conduct I bring to every project, accompanied by complete transparency and a promise to deliver on time and on budget. COMMUNITY & LEADERSHIPI served as Treasurer on the Board of the Design Institute of Australia for several years and the NAWIC WA Board for three years. MKDC have also heavily supported Perth Rotary over many years. My philosophy extends to helping young designers think critically to solve complex planning problems and construction issues. In mentoring our team members, my role is to encourage expansive thinking so that it helps them facilitate the dynamics between project contributors—this ensures that each project is delivered with the highest possible levels of integrity.
