About Project Surya •

Project Surya is a 1M1B Future Leader Project Surya started by 14 year old Divaa Uthkarsha from National Public School, Rajajinagar.We aim to help the underprivileged type one diabetic adolescents living in Bengaluru (India).We have a three pronged plan of approach namely awareness, advocacy and funding…We have collaborated with the Samatvam: Science and Research for Human Welfare Trust and the Rotary Clubs of Bangalore, along with education minister and international organizations like dedoc and t1 international…We have conducted carious awareness sessions to help these type one diabetics!     Project Surya is a non profit youth led initiative founded by Divaa, a 14 year old Future Leader from NPS Rajajinagar under a UN accredited NGO a called the 1M1B Foundation. We are contributing to the third UNSDG - Good health and well being by making health accessible for all.We have a three pronged action plan focusing on advocacy, awareness and funding…We have conducted several awareness sessions, donation drives and crowdfunding, counseling sessions, health camps, resources distribution camps, meet ups and online advocacy for which we have directly impacted more than 850 individuals directly and more than a 1000 indirectly through our social media advocacy and our online awareness modules.We are active on our instagram @project_surya_ wherein we update our work.Collaboration with Samatvam Endocrinology Trust.Supported by Rotary and Innerwheel clubs of Bangalore.Collaborating with the Karnataka Institute of Endocrinology and Research and registered trust Uthkarsha Foundation.Check out our website using link in bio!Donate now and save lives.
