-Delegate tasks within the Art Department to the appropriate person capable, based on need, skill set and availability.-Helping to maintain company website and social media accounts including Facebook, Yelp, Twitter, Instagram, Google +, Pinterest, and LinkedIn; using google analytics to provide insights on traffic, and social media managers to aggregate multiple accounts into a single hub-taking and gathering photos; creating banners, advertisements, and web ready imagery for social media, company website and online stores-Setting up online stores; uploading web images and input data provided by sales staff-Designing promotional and internal material including forms, brochures, flyers, signs and business cards-Managing in-house production task lists; ensuring all art, made for a variety of promotional items using different imprint methods, including screen printing, various transfer methods, embroidery, etc... is ready by designated date in order to meet client deadlines-Ensuring all final production files are properly stored; correctly citing in paperwork for future use

-Created artwork that reflected client’s requests, ranging from projects allowing me full creativity, and/or setting up art provided by client (most designs were a combination of both)-Proofed designs mocked up on a variety of promotional items, reflecting accurate representations of final product-Set up color separations for screen printing, using spot colors (with or without halftones), 4-color process and simulated process; printed films used to burn image into screen -Inspected first run and gave the final ‘go ahead’ by working closely with production manager to attain an accurate result; in turn I foresaw the possible complications that can occur in production, ensuring initial design, addresses any possible limitations before sending proof to customer-Managed the art department with the goal of efficiency and the meeting of deadlines; looked over production schedule, communicated with sales regarding timeline or any specifics pertinent to client, and delegated tasks to designers based on their skill-set and availability, while taking responsibility for the larger and/or more complicated projects

-Assisted several sales people after quote approval and arrival of PO, upon which I set up a new order and pulled the previous relevant order if needed-Guided clients through the order process, by having requested art digitized, choosing colors, doing sewouts, taking photos and providing mock-ups until desired result was reached-Communicated with client regarding any updates in price since quote, availability of product, timeline and shipping details-Ensured our product was available and pulled from back or ordered from main warehouse and/or all incoming contract goods were properly separated and labeled for accurate and efficient production flow-Documented necessary communications to various departments including production manager, machine operators, trimmers, shipping department and accounting department-Set up cut-files for transfers, vectorized artwork for print, and designed mock-ups of our cut cloth custom items made overseas

-Coordinated the prioritization of current jobs while scheduling new orders; including binding, printing, promotional goods, signage, ect... -Quoting jobs and providing solutions to customers promotional and printing needs -Contacting vendors when outsourcing jobs, creating and reviewing purchase orders and invoices for said jobs-Often working alone, I maintained quality customer service and communication whether it be through retail/sales, phone calls, emails and/or online print orders in a busy environment-large format printing-binding, laminating, mounting, cutting, scoring, punching, padding, folding and scanning
