This role involved extensive architectural design, prototyping, and assessment of solutions, and I reported directly to the company's CTO. Our core product processes high volume financial data every day, so scalability and reliability are paramount. I played a key role converting the legacy backend into a modern microservice and event-based system. On the front-end, I developed solutions using primarily Vue and React, and led typescript and redux adoption in this area too.
