As a Consultant and Trainer I work with public water systems, domestic and industrial waste treatment systems and with HSE compliance within industrial and supply chain management environments. As an Operations Specialist for over 16 years with Buchart-Horn, Inc., I was the primary point of contact for numerous startup and troubleshooting assignments for our water, wastewater, and industrial clients. The team approach offered me a unique opportunity to consult on a routine basis with leading experts in domestic and industrial wastewater systems and public water systems. I’m a skilled troubleshooter and problem solver. I personally evaluate facilities under my control to ensure longevity, compliance, and for capital improvement projections. For over 20 years I’ve been an Adjunct (part-time) Instructor for the College of Southern Maryland for their Maryland Center of Environmental Training (MCET) program. As a skilled instructor, presenter, and public meeting facilitator, I’ve learned the value of utilizing PowerPoint presentations to explain complex subjects and to lead open discussions. My PowerPoint presentations are animated to accentuate key points and draw in audience participation. I’ve written and implemented various safety and environmental protection plans such as SWP, SWPPP, PPC, SPR, and SPCC. I’ve developed O&M Manuals and SOPs for public water systems and both domestic and industrial waste treatment plants. As MS4 (Stormwater) Manager, I implemented both structural and non-structural Best Management Practices (BMPs).
