My remit at adidas spanned two main areas: 1) digital transformation and how to inject “agile ways of working” into the adidas Digital Brand Commerce department, and 2) Senior Product Owner for Product Listing Pages, Search and the Navigation. In the first area, I worked with senior management to support the move to agile ways of working. My aim was to make sure the team/wider department was set up to be more customer focused and drive business value through user-centric design and iterative delivery. As a Senior Product Owner for “Findability” I managed the backlog for listing pages, search and the navigation. My mission was to lead and support customers through the product discovery process as effectively as possible with an effortless and inspirational experience on desktop and mobile web. My recent achievements include:Carrying out a huge technical re-platform of PLPs for all key markets to build better foundations for future innovation, enable daily releases to learn fast and improve customer experience iteratively.The upgrade decreased PLP page-load-time by 40% to bring about a revenue uplift of 17M annually.We also integrated with a new merchandising tool (Fredhopper) to increase operational efficiency through better business-user-interface (time spent setting up pages) and improved localisation capabilities within key markets (EU). This feature release improved product presentation through sorting and ranking products to achieve a higher product view rate - at the time of leaving, this had increased 46% YoY for all the key markets.
