Worked as an Estimation Engineer on high end projects, concentrating on post-contract services, and managing costs without compromising on quality within the stipulated time frame.My responsibilities included, but were not limited to:-Prepare estimates of probable costs of materials, labour and equipment, and subcontractors for fast track fit-out projects with contract value ranging from 100k to 30M USD.- Actively managing costs, identifying and addressing potential issues early, providing informed advice at the appropriate time to facilitate project control and enable business decisions to be taken with confidence.- Prepare Extension of Time Claims/Variation Claims related to services provided, and follow up with the Client/Consultant to issue Addendum Variation Order for the same.- Facilitate the preparation of Contract change and prepare the relevant change management control systems.- Estimating manpower requirements for the project and, preparing material/service procurement plan in accordance with available tender documents.- Prepare cost and expenditure statements and, forecasts at regular intervals for the duration of a project.- Prepare draft contract documents to exercise sun-contracts for the project.- Monitoring and tracking the project progress to update the schedule for invoicing.- Tracking of variation in quantity as well as prices to prepare variation summary.- Study the requirements of the Request for Proposal/Invitation to Tender/Pre-qualification Tenders/Expression of Interest.- Prepare Executive Summary including scope of works, constraints, commercial risk factors, relevant drawings, for management review, and assist in bid or no-bid decision.- Perform technical and commercial review of Tenders for the preparation of Service agreements.- Consult, communicate & liaise with architects, owners, sub-contractors and vendors, to conduct economic feasibility studies on tender bids, variations and adjustments to cost estimates.
