This document provides the designer with each and every detail of the product such as technical specifications, features, appearance, dimensions, standards to comply, warranty etc. Apart from this, the document also outlines pricing strategy, target manufacturing cost, and sales forecast. This activity includes Supplier identification, product validation, then homologating it & later launching.- Prepare plan and communication for smooth Discontinuation or Migration of a product or product line.- Provide sales support through market /competitive watch.
