The project aimed at creating two community tree nurseries, produce 20,000 bee loving trees to develop six modern apiaries in six communities and increase honey production/honey bi-products, enhance livelihoods and mitigate climate change. These included the support of 50 hives and bee keeping equipment in each community. 619 people were direct beneficiaries 309 men, 310 women (with 170,000 inhabitants as indirect beneficiaries a majority of them women).

I was involved in a project to rehabilitate Muguga forest with the local community. Plant Taxonomy-Under this programme, I worked on identifying, collecting, Research-I worked in the following research projects:o Determining the best storage media for tree seeds using indigenous tree seeds obtained from various regions of the country.o Payment for environmental services and payment for water services in the African and Global context and applicability in Kenya, the concept and steps involved. o I was also trained on participatory learning approaches and project monitoring and evaluation.  Tree seed collection, extraction and handling-Under the Kenya Forestry Seed Centre, I was involved in identifying suitable seed sources, tree seed collection, extraction, testing and dispatching to produce quality tree seeds. Programme on Osyris lanceolata-This was a research aiming to establish the most desirable propagation method and finding a suitable host for the parasitic plant.  I was involved in drafting a Participatory Forest Management Grass Root Training Manual to be used in enhancing capacity of local implementers.
