Oversee and manage CHCI’s Public Policy Fellowship and Graduate Fellowship program including the selection, development, evaluation, and promotion of 25+ fellowship program participants. Collaborate with external partners, CHCI Alumni, Staff, and current program participants to review and develop overall goals for program implementation. Coach and guide others in producing and implementing innovative approaches to their work stream including establishing work plans, assigning duties and responsibilities, and analyzing scope of authority.

Supported the management of CHCI’s Public Policy Fellowship and Graduate Fellowship program. Developed syllabi for both 9 month programs and executed 3-4 weekly professional development sessions, providing content on the development of leadership, public policy and advocacy, and professional skills. Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Walton Family Foundation Education Graduate Fellow in the office of U.S. Senator Michael Bennet. Led research efforts on cybersecurity in education, proposed and drafted legislation to address vulnerabilities within K-12 schools.

One of five operational staff focused on supporting the operational needs of Teach for America's Phoenix Institute, accommodating 72 new teachers and managing an operations budget. Managed Teach For America's relationship with the summer institute host university regarding housing, food, transportation and technology. Organized the planning and execution of two events for 100+ attendees to ensure smooth logistical operations. Created and updated the Phoenix Summer Institute website.

Designed engaging course plans to meet academic, intellectual and social needs of a class size of 27 students. In five months, increased students reading proficiency by 50% and math proficiency by 25%. Instituted new approaches of teaching by analyzing and distilling test data to identify opportunities for intervention and enrichment alongside three 2nd grade teachers. In eight months, 92% of students mastered all reading and math standards. Produced the highest math growth average among all 36 classes, K-8th.

Chosen to be 1 of 35 participants of the inaugural class of Community Leadership Corp- Phoenix. Founded The EDventure Project, a program that creates a space in the West Valley of Phoenix, AZ for students and parents to talk about the power education, self identity and strategies to design their educational future. Led a team of 3 in all logistical and outreach correspondence in developing the program. Created a partnership with Aguila Youth Leadership Institute, the University of Arizona, Arizona State University to educate, empower and energize families from low- resource backgrounds. Honored at the 2018 Obama Summit in Chicago.
