Brought in on behalf of Mace Group to strengthen the Programme Management Partner approach with a client who is undertaking a major portfolio of projects within the Nuclear sector. The role spans across the breadth of the initial sustainment packages and through to the main infrastructure phase once the business case has been optioneered and approved.

Working for Mace on behalf of the Dutch Ministry of the Environment.Part of a small specialist team analysing the technical competencies and suitability of a large Radioisotope nuclear reactor project in Holland . This is a second phase due diligence review to test if the project is ready for a multi million Euro investment from government and private sectors .

Employed on behalf of MACE Group to lead a Due Diligence team reviewing preparation status, technical and PMO capability for a new Nuclear reactor project in northern Holland . We reported to the client in May 2020 with findings and recommendations to allow for a substantial business decision on investment . The contract has been successfully completed on time with the submission of a detailed Due Diligence report and a series of recommendations .

Runcorn Site, Cheshire

Brought in on behalf of Ineos Enterprises Ltd as Senior Project manager to initiate a significant investment project for the Sulphuric Acid business at Runcorn site . The Project is at Pre-sanction stage and awaiting board approval . Once achieved , the role of SPM will be to drive the project life cycle deliverables and enable a successful installation and commissioning programme currently targeted for the end of Q1 2021 (this is subject to the sanction programme being executed on time) . The SAC business is also executing a new TAR strategy, and I also have responsibility for TAR delivery in September 2019 . The TAR was executed successfully in all aspects (SHE,Quality,Cost & Duration) and business targets met .

Brought in to prepare for the execution of a number of Project packages within a major TAR at INeos Oxides site in Antwerp Belgium . The role also includes for oversight of the co-ordination and placement of contracts within the Belgium area , and support of the TAR team in execution . Unfortunately, due to a knee operation , i had to resign my position at the start of the TAR .

Employed to take control of the £150m Phase 2 Expansion project (New Gas Compression/ Storage / Distribution Plant ) at Stublach (nr Northwich Cheshire). My role was to develop existing procedures, budgets, and plans, and fully ratify them for the Storengy board steering team,I was also tasked with the provision of Project Governance, and Strategies that will allow for the successful "cradle to grave" delivery of the whole project by its determined planned completion. I was also responsible for the recruitment & assembly of the project team (including full commissioning )to enable a seamless handover to the operations team .All contracts placed where under the NEC Contract suite and I was in direct control of the budgets and change control processes

Employed as Project Manager to the Ineos Enterprise Business to compile and manage the Presanction / FEED elements of a proposed new Acid Plant ,and also run an EPC tender process to select a Contract company for the design and build of the plant post award of the successful Sanction bid .Contracts will be placed under ,and managed via, a number of the NEC.3 Contract Suites. The project was postponed (Aug 16 ) for business reasons.

The project has undergone some restructuring of the management teams ( client, Jacobs & contractor) and my role is now to manage the Mechanical & Piping phase with the new encumbent sub contractor Balfour Beatty. I am responsible for the management of the contract deliverables ( HSE,Quality, Cost and duration). I am looking to advance BBES in their mobilisation phase to ensure they gain full effectiveness as soon as possible to allow them to achieve their contractual obligations. Employed on the £500M Tails Management Facility (TMF) as a Snr Construction Manager. The Project is in the Civil construction phase, with Jacobs being Principal Contractor to Urenco (client ) and Kier being the civil subcontractor managing the works . The project has a number of seismic designed buildings to construct along with all the mechanical, electrical and instrumentation packages.My duties include overall management of all elements on one half of the project facility .
