This included the design and creation of the data mart using SSIS and multiple cubes using SSAS. The more complex of the cubes had in excess of 60 calculated measures.• Responsible for upgrading from SQL 2000 to 2005.• Developed and deployed a data driven, web based report engine. Simple listings only require the population of tables. More complex reports utilize XML/XSL transformations. Allows users to generate custom report listings on the fly. Self-hosted clients were trained to develop their own reports utilizing this report engine. The engine was expanded recently to accommodate Reporting Services reports.• Created and maintained stored procedures, functions, triggers and views as needed to support application and reports.• Architected database design changes as new modules were added to the application.• Developed a process to manage changes to databases to be implemented on client’s data during upgrades without benefit of third party SQL tools.• Resolved client issues regarding speed or accuracy - making required modifications as needed or providing supporting documentation when changes were not required.• Responsible for ongoing performance tuning of application.• Managed the custom work process. A non-programmer was able to implement ten state schedules in less than five months by populating data fields with conditional statements. This reduced time per schedule from an average of 3 months to 3 weeks.• Developed and deployed a medical bill review user interface for collection of both HCFA-1500 and UB-92 billing information.• Developed the application of Focus PPO contracts to medical bills.• Developed an EDI interface to adjudicate medical bill information with no user interaction according to the OH fee schedule and rules in partnership with SACIII. On current data, there was less than 2% deviation from the pricing manually performed by the state bureau.• Managed project time lines and staff of six developers.Technology: Visual FoxPro and FoxPro 2.6.
