As head workplace & middleware technology at Bank Julius Baer I am proud to lead an experienced team of engineers that are responsible for all workplace technology in the group, globally.Our team is responsible for the Windows workplace of all our employees, allowing them to work from home either using their corporate notebook or BYOD. We provide different collaboration tools, allowing the workforce to work very efficient such as SharePoint and Webex.Apart from the workplace we also offer application integration technologies such as IBM MQ, Kafka and API gateway services. The team is also responsible for all financial gateways such as SWIFT, SIC, SECOM or HKICL.Last but not least we offer system monitoring, secure file transfer as well as scheduling services for our global operations.As a leader I am proud I was able to support the career of colleagues by mentoring and supporting team so they could become peers or even superiors of mine. It is my passion to support talented people unfolding their potential.During my professional career I was lucky I had the opportunity to build up a global unified workplace infrastructure (workplaces and servers) and be part of many integration projects where we consolidated workplace infrastructures into our global, scalable solution which I built with a great teams the years before.
