Prior Authorization Lead
CurrentThe Prior Authorization Lead is the subject matter expert of the prior authorization process and is responsible for being the “first line” resource for prior authorization staff. This includes accurately answering questions regarding procedures, training, and processes to assure compliance with policies and procedures. The Prior Authorization Lead is responsible for daily management of prior authorization staff, auditing functions, and assuring that all staff provide a level of patient care that meets or exceeds the organization’s expectations.
