As a an Associate Researcher II, I worked on developing algorithms for autonomous agricultural vehicles. I am specifically worked on intersection of Deep RL and Optimal Control for developing algorithms that allow robots navigate using just monocular images.

As an Associate Researcher at the Field Robotics Center my job is to develop and implement robotics and and AI algorithms for agricultural perception and autonomy. These range from developing Geometric and Deep Learning based computer vision techniques for plant yield estimation and health assessment to developing and deploying state of the art Neural Network architectures for automation of tasks that involve plant manipulation or vehicle autonomy.

As an intern at the Field Robotics Center, I developed a classical computer vision based technique for counting leaves and estimating the leaf area in stereo images of grape vine. I used those numbers to find correlations between leaf density and the produce of the field.

Mumbai Area, India

Co-developed an Android application to reduce the wait times experienced during customer care calls. The customer could schedule a phone call on the app and choose when to be called according to their convenience. The application thus actively matched customers with free customer care agents.
