Mr. Praveen Tekchandani is a Partner at Ernst & Young (EY) Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS). He has carried out several Sustainability, Environmental, Energy, and GHG assessments, across 14 countries in sectors such as real estate, renewable energy, manufacturing, infrastructure, cement, and others. He is the recipient of Enterprise Singapore Merit Award 2018 for his significant contribution to Singapore Standardization Programme. He is also an appointed member of ISO technical committee and helped Enterprise Singapore to provide technical inputs in the development of International Standards such as Product Life Cycle Assessment and revision of GHG Accounting standard (ISO 14064). He spearheaded the collaboration with SPRING Singapore to launch Singapore Certified Management Consultant (SCMC) Scheme, which sets out the minimum acceptable professional standards and practices for Management Consultants. He has also supported IDA's initiative for the pilot launch of Green Data Centre certification in Singapore. He has been invited by developmental banks and other international agencies such as ADB, SPRING, UNIDO, IETA, etc. to share his experience in the field of environment and sustainability. Before joining EY, he worked with TUV SUD PSB heading Innovation & Academy services in Singapore.
