Position Summary:The position will be responsible for supporting all Quality Assurance activities in the Global Powertrain scope.The position will be in support of the Global Quality Director and includes issue follow-up, training, TI Automotive Directed initiatives such as S/R, QBIC, 6S and cleanliness.Responsibilities of Position:1. Provides at will support of all Powertrain Quality/Operations Personnel globally.2. Roll-out/training of TI Automotive Powertrain facilities worldwide to ensure global adherence to best practices.3. Spearhead specific initiatives as directed by the Global Quality Director.4. Support the prescreening of supplier candidates for technical and feasibility before sourcing meeting as required.5. Participates in global sourcing committee reviews as required by the Quality Director.6. Drives, where necessary, Top Focus and supplier scorecard improvement activities. Including follow up monitoring supplier’s effectiveness to established goal and objectives.7. Champions’ resolution of chronic customer quality issues when requested: identifies, prioritizes, charts occurrences/trends, implements and manages corrective action plans, reports on corrective actions/problem resolution.8. Lead workshops to develop and mentor plant quality staffs and other key plant personnel in problem resolution (PPS), controls plans, 6S, QBIC, and Cleanliness.9. Drives the mandated “zero defects expectations.10. Facilitate global change management as required in supporting supplier change request.11. Performs monthly Divisional quality reporting roll-up and analysis. Will follow-up with key individuals in each PT location on specific customer and supplier issues in order to drive closure of the problem.

Quality Engineering

Quality Assurance/Environmental Health and Safety Manager (2004-2009) Administrated Quality Management System company wide in accordance with ISO/TS 16949:2002. Establish, document, implement, maintain and continually improve the QMS system and reducing rejects.  Established 15 QMS process procedures which includes: manufacturing assembly department, internal audit, control plans, FMEA’s, product audit, corrective/preventative action, root cause analysis, management review, customer expectations (PPM), material control, supplier development, and performance, receiving, shipping, and document control. Administrated Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2004. Customer Service/Production Control (2000-2004/ 2008-2009) Facilitated all customer orders from initial order through delivery.  Managed million dollar inventory levels plant wide. Consisting of 35 components for the assembly process. Served as liaison between sales staff and customer.  Resolved all customer questions and concerns in a timely manner.  Tracked all order customer deliveries with a 100% on time delivery rating Guided customers of new and/or alternative products.
