• Review production orders and schedules to determine product requirements including part type, quantity, product specifications and customer delivery requirements• Plan shift production operations, establish priorities and sequencing for manufacturing to optimize the use of production methods, machine capabilities and staffing resources.• Monitor and inspect machines to ensure equipment is being fully utilized and meeting operational performance

• Coordinate APQP timing and assign ownership to team members related to project• Hold regular APQP meetings with all department representatives to monitor and document progress towards project goals• Facilitate smooth and orderly transition from product development into manufacturing quality operations, whether new product, engineering change, or temporary process change• Meet with customers regarding new launches and organize web meetings• Perform layered audits of the manufacturing process to maintain proper process adherence• Lead/Assist in development of Control plans/critical characteristics, PFMEA documents, JES and other work instructions as needed• Conduct new employee quality training presentation• Assist Engineering or Quality department with dimensional layouts, SPC studies, and gage R&Rs as applicable for overall PPAP tasks, applying statistical controls and methods

• Capable of training associates on the operation/set up of equipment to produce a quality part• Package finished products according to shipping standards• Create parts from blueprint with assistance from engineers and tool makers• Make changes to part using computer to maintain product quality• Troubleshoot problems with machinery and equipment• Setup and change tooling in machinery for different parts• Utilize quality control techniques and equipment to make sure parts are not defective
