Pulkit Jain started his journey to be a successful and well-known film director one day. His passion for film direction got him started at very early age. He took keen interest in learning every aspect of film making from people in the field around him to self-learning from sources online. To turn his passion into career, he choose to do his MBA in media management from EMRC. After making few short films on his own, he co-founded a production company ‘Filmers Lounge’ where the duo made some impressive short films. Limited equipment, restricted access to technology and low budget, meant the mini-team had to multi-task and work tireless for hours. That gave them experience in all areas of film making e.g. directing, script writing, screenplay, cinematography and editing. Once confident, to hone his skills further he started looking for opportunities in Mecca of film-making ‘Mumbai’. He was selected as creative trainee by PEN India Pvt. Ltd. (Udaan) in Mumbai, where he not only learned skills of directing, but also got fair idea of how to co-ordinate with various production departments and learned end to end of TV serial making.After which he got into 2 reputed advertising agencies to further his skill and passion. The first one being ICOMO Advertising and second one The Beanstalk Productions. He worked there as Assistant Director and Assistant Producer respectively. He has worked on various video projects for clients like - British Council, Radio Mirchi, Gaana.com, SPJIMR Institute, History TV18, Taj Hotels and many more.The project which added a new feather in his cap was two weekly-episodic TV Shows for History TV18, named - India's 70 Wonders and Man Vs. Job. On this projects he worked as Post Producer and both shows got aired on History TV18. With strong passion, keen attitude towards learning and self-confidence Pulkit is now looking to connect with talents from film-making domain for producing various video projects that he is heading as of now.
