Study Of A Perfusion Cultivation Of Cho Cells Using Atf And Tff Filtration

In this project I studied the working and examined the limits of a perfusion mode of cultivating CHO cells using external cell separation filtration devices in a disposable bioreactor - a WAVE Bioreactor. This was achieved by Alternating tangential flow and tangential flow filtration (cross flow filtration) using a microfiltration and an ultrafiltration hollow fiber units. The cell densities and IgG titres achieved was compared with fed batch cultivation in the same disposable reactor.
