Led the setting up Brazilian subsidiary of Infosys Ltd. The subsidiary provides Consulting, IT and BPO services to various marquee clients at Belo Horizonte, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Focused on 'Building Tomorrow's Enterprise' for our clients.

I led the setting up of BPO business at Mexico. I was responsible for selling, delivery and P&L of the business. I was responsible for articulating the USPs and value proposition of the business. This business created many unique products and services for its clients – such as providing sourcing and procurement services in French for a mining major, trade promotion services in Latin America region for a retailing major. It is amongst the most profitable amongst all BPO businesses globally.

Led an engagement for global major in mining ($35 billion in revenue) of approximately 175 employees delivering services in Finance & Accounting, Knowledge Services & Procurementhorizontals. Focused on:• Productivity Improvements – The team delivered about 10% productivity improvement on YoY Basis. The engagement was awarded at the Ops Excellence Meet for process transformation. Also led various Six Sigma projects at the engagement.• Attrition – Reduced attrition from over 70% to 28%. The employee engagement program is used as a benchmark in various other engagements in the Organization.• CSAT – The account CSAT was amongst the lowest in the company at the time of joining. It moved to amongst the top 3 in company.• Others – Have also been contributing through Grievance Redressal Forums - Hearing Employees And Resolving (HEAR) and Harmonious Workplace Initiative (HWI).

Joined Progeon Ltd (subsequently renamed as Infosys BPO Ltd) to lead the recruitment team and played that role for almost 3 years. While focusing on regular hiring, worked on various initiatives which led to creating a strong brand for Progeon in the job market. Some of the achievements during this period were:• Took the company from about 800 people to about 10000. Scaled up systems, processes and team to move from doing about 40 hires a month to touch about 1000 a month; at one of the lowest cost per hire in the industry.• Led the creation of various processes and systems for the recruitment to scale up at thelevels required. The recruitment processes were successfully assessed for various quality and security standards such as SAS 70, ISO, BS 7799.• Conceptualized and delivered the Campus Ambassador Program (CAP) to create an alternate and trusted channel for communicating with the target audience in the campuses. This led to Progeon having the biggest ever graduate campus program in the world.• Launched the Progeon Elective program in MBA schools – Progeon is the only BPO in some of the tier I campuses. The MBA hiring program was a big success with toppers hired atcompetitive market salaries by building the right value proposition. Progeon was also named the highest recruiter of CAs in the country.

Recruited to set-up and manage the new practice with a dual responsibility of operations in Bangalore and Mumbai. Was responsible for recruiting, training & providing thought leadership to a 6-member team, carrying business targets of over Rs 7.5 million annually. The team specialized at handling campus, start-up and senior recruitments plus retained search assignments for various Indian and overseas clients. Pioneered and implemented strategy, delivery and operational process for the practice.

TechSpan is a US headquartered pure-play venture of Arjun Malhotra (one of the founders of HCL group) and Goldman Sachs in the collaborative commerce space. It had merged with HeadStrong which has recently been acquired by Genpact. Scope of work entailed Recruitment and Deployment of e-commerce consultants on H-1B visa on various US based project locations.

Started Indigenius, to launch 3 dotcoms focusing on disintermediation in business dominated by intermediaries. Finally the company worked as an offshore business partner of Burning Glass Inc (CA) – a company developing Artificial Intelligence Solutions for the recruitment industry. Was responsible for entire business operations including sales anddelivery with a team strength of about 35 employees.
