Experienced Hematology & Bone Marrow Transplant Physician with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. Has a strong medical background having done his MBBS from K.J.Somaiya Medical College in 2002, and later his MD in general medicine from J.J.M.M.C Medical College from 2007. Later completed his speciality training in clinical hematology /Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant from the prestigious Christian Medical College from Vellore, Tamil Nadu, having spent a good long 6 years at Vellore.. Has an advanced training in management of leukemias and hematological malignancies from MD Anderson Cancer Center, USA... Initially i worked for a year at Global hospitals in Mumbai. In December 2017, i joined the newly built Apollo hospitals at Navi Mumbai. I am a part of a high efficiency oncology team, and am leading the HeamOnc & Bone Marrow Transplant division in Oncology. My special interests also include management of high risk leukemias, Myelomas, transplants in thalassemia's and sickle cell anemias etc. Other hematological diseases i deal include chronic hemolytic anemias, enzymopathies, venous thrombosis and rare bleeding disorders.
