Dr. PUNIT JAIN: My training has been in the field of medicine, with subsequent specialization in the management of all hematology related disorders, with a high focus on bone marrow transplants.After my initial training in medicine, I spent the next 6 years from Aug 2009 to Aug 2015, learning hematology-oncology at the prestigious Christian medical college, Vellore. It was during this tenure, that I also completed my advanced 3 years of hemat-Onc fellowship (D.M in clinical hematology, from 2011 to 2014), being actively involved in several autologous and allogeneic bone marrow transplants in thalassemia’s, aplastic anemias and leukemias, etc.
