Quality Control Engineer
Current* Control and review of product testing according to the international standards and their given testing procedures for PE, PVC & PP pipes.* Control and review of Raw material and Pipe testings; i.e. Density, Melt Flow Rate (MFR), Carbon Black Content (CBC), Carbon dispersion test, Oxidation Induction Time (OIT), Tensile test, Burst pressure test, Hydrostatic pressure test, Impact test, Stiffness test, Opacity test, Break down voltage & Insulation test, Compression test, Bending test, Resistance to DCM & Acetone test, Flattening test, Fracture toughness test, Leak tightness test, Vicat softening tetemperature (VST) test, etc. * Ensuring sample preparations for all physical, chemical and mechanical tests according to the international standard & test methods.* Online quality inspection by following Quality-Plan (QP) & Inspection and test plan (ITP).* Following testing procedures as per National and International standards; viz, OS, ISO, ASTM, BSEN, BS, NEMA, API, CEN, UL, API 15LE/SP 2094 Omani Standards, etc.* Online quality inspection in Pipe manufacturing Area and verifying the samples stock control.* Preparing test certificates related to testings and making Customer issued certificates.* Preparing Quality plan (QP) & Inspection and Test Plan (I.T.P.) * Preparing Compliance statements for various projects for PE, PVC & PP pipes.* Involvement in preparing quality manual and procedures. Preparing Quality-Plan by following the standards.* ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 9001:2015 documentations & Solid understandings.* Solid understanding of PE, PVC & PP pipe manufacturing and testing process.* Involvement in Third Party Inspection with inspectors along with the client. * Training/guidelines for new employees (in Q.C.).* Planning for day-to-day Q.C. activities.* Quality of team work.
