InternAmsterdam Umc Aug 2023 - Oct 2023Amsterdam-Zuid, North Holland, NetherlandsIn my internship, I compared markerless motion capture data from Theia 3D software with a marker-based system (Human Body Model - HBM), focusing on kinetic parameters for typically developing children and children with cerebral palsy. I assisted in clinical measurements of cerebral palsy patients to study their gait. I learned about motion capture and processing techniques in a clinical set-up mainly using Vicon nexus, Theia 3D, Gait Offline Analysis Tool, and Vicon ProCalc software to analyze gait regarding kinematics and kinetic parameters. I created a pipeline to measure kinetics from markerless data (Theia 3D) using Vicon Nexus, Vicon ProCalc, and Matlab software. It was a great opportunity to work in AMC under knowledgeable and experienced researchers. -
