Buena Vista Angels was founded in 2014 by a small group of friends who shared the interest of working with and investing in innovative companies and passionate teams. Today, the group has grown to 50 members with 30+ portfolio companies.As Founder and Managing Partner, I am responsible for creating the structure, processes, and bylaws of the angel network and its sidecar funds. I have helped private companies raise over $50MM through my network of investors as well as provide strategic support to founders and executives.

Village Liquor is a four store retail chain of upscale Fine Wine and Liquor shops in the Houston area. Village liquor has earned a spot on the INC5000 list of fastest growing private companies and also been named 'Retailers of the Year' at a national level by Beverage Dynamics magazine. I have owned and operated the business since 2006 and am responsible for re-positioning the brand, renovating the locations, and refreshing the product mix to cater to the burgeoning craft beer, fine wine, and premium whiskey market. We have driven growth by implementing technology and innovative marketing techniques to rapidly grow a loyal customer base.Currently, I am the buyer and am responsible for all high level decisions, strategic partnerships, and concierge sales.

Bagel Dots are produced in a USDA and FDA certified custom commercial bakery and are sold in over 3000 grocery stores and 9000 quick service restaurants across the US. [Acquired by CraftMark Bakery Sept 2021]I started Bagel Dots with my wife in 2014 and sold the business to CraftMark Bakery in 2021. I currently work with CraftMark on a consultative basis on Bagel Dots and other innovation.
