I am an English Language tutor, translator and proofreader based in Bahia, Brazil. I have 7 years of teaching experience working both online and face-to-face for prestigious language institutions in Brazil, and as a freelance ELT professional. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in the English Language, and I currently specialise in Linguistics at Unyleya University. I also hold a B2 First - FCE (Grade A - CEFR Level C1) certificate from Cambridge Assessment English.As a tutor I aim to provide engaging learning environments to enable competent users of the English language in a wide range of communicative purposes and language use contexts. I have experience in distance learning, preparing students for international certification tests (Cambridge B1 PET and B2 FCE specialist) and job interviews, teacher training and different teaching methodologies and materials. I am in permanent learning and professional development.As a writing professional, I have been working with translation (English <> Portuguese), proofreading, transcription and subtitling since 2015.
