Who am I? Gosh, who is able to answer this question without breaking out in hives of anxiety? Does the person asking the question want to know about me on a personal or professional level? So here goes my attempt at answering this.Personally, I identify with many hats; I'm an Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Friend and a Lion....plus a host of many other nouns and adjectives that I am sure I cannot exhaust (that is...depending on who is describing me).Professionally, I have had 15 years in HR of opportunities to be of service and to be a good human within the organisations that i have worked with; and I look forward to another 15 years. What value proposition do I bring to an organisation?I have regional experience having worked both in Kenya and TanzaniaI have had the pleasure of working in multiple industries and while some may say that people are the same across the board, having multi-industry exposure has given me insight and valuable knowledge of varied industry regulations and policies, which often times change the dynamic in people managementI excel at formulating policy frameworks within organisations and managing their implementationI have successfully used data analytics to support succession planing activities that aide career progression and ensure business continuity.I believe in a strong performance management culture that supports both the employee and employer agendaI am a strategic thinker able to understand the business and align HR activities to support the greater organisational agenda.
