As a Data Analyst BI at Tata Consultancy Services, I have over 17 years of experience in IT implementation, project governance, and strategic consulting. I am passionate about delivering data-driven solutions for the banking and financial sector, leveraging my expertise in data warehouse design, risk management, Basel III, credit risk, LGD, collateral, RWA, capital, and derivative market.In my current role, I work with a team of data professionals to define and build a common pool of contracts, positions, customer account balances, and associated reference data for a leading global bank. We use a common data model and agreed data standards, for consumption by all client systems across finance, risk and compliance, and any other unit requiring such data. We also simplify the overall data processing by replacing intermediate data stores and enabling more straight-through processing. Through this project, I have contributed to enhancing the data quality, accuracy, and efficiency for the bank's operations and reporting.
