Responsible for the operational state and availability of Corporate IT server, storage and backup infrastructure services to all GE businesses. Focus and keep the lights on the supported environment, follow ITIL service management framework and lead wing to wing resolution of issues. Adapt IT engineering solutions, build process and security requirements and lead initiatives, projects on areas proactively reduce operational risks / costs in the supported infrastructure. Plan changes and updates for maintenance and security patching. Handle obsolescence in the infrastructure and provide the best cost effective solution aligned to the business strategy.

Manage the EMEA Unix team members and the team support activities. Involved in Incident, Problem, Change management activities in ITIL driven environment.Planning operating system and hardware related changes. Communicate the incidents or changes with different teams. Leading projects, keep the lights on the global infrastructure and work on to improve the supported environment to minimize unexpected outages. Produce reports and statistics about the team's activities, ensure the incidents and the requests are resolved according to the given business SLAs. Work together with management to continuously develop our knowledge base and support activities and adjust it for GE needs and to meet the varying IT business expectations.
