As the CFO at Berkshire Waldorf, here are my responsibilities:1. Carries out all activities related to school accounts to ensure timely and accurate payments, billings and financial reports.2. Advises and collaborates with the Treasurer as appropriate in the development and implementation of financial systems and procedures including financial reports to the Board of Trustees. 3. Assists with or carry out communications with parent community regarding financial, legal and business functions including student applications, contracts and tuition obligations.4. Manages and arranges for collection of past-due balances.5. Oversees tax filings and audit process.6. Supervises budget creation and tracking.7. Enters all transactions into Quickbooks from TADS, credit card accounts, payment processors, checks received, and cash received.8. Tracks cash flow, assists with financial planning, analyzes the school’s financial strengths and weaknesses, and proposes strategic direction.9. Manages the accounting and finance functions.10. Directs accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.11. Recommends improvements to ensure the integrity of a company’s financial information.12. Collaborates on technology decisions.13. Oversees financial and tuition management systems implementations and upgrades.14. Serves as liaison with donors and foundations as directed.15.
