Processing employment verifications, Court Orders, Worker Compensation reports, Annual Motor Vehicle Reports and Ordering supplies. Assist in the processing of EEOC responses and investigations. Perform background checks and employment verifications for potential employment candidates.

Every parent, teacher or child wants to believe that prescription drug abuse can’t happen to them. It can, and all too often it does.

Well known in the horse racing and gaming industry, Arlington International Racecourse, LLC owns and operates a horseracing track in Illinois. It also operates 8 Trackside OTB (Off Track Betting) facilities throughout the state of Illinois which include full bar and restaurant service. Formerly known as Arlington Park, which was founded in 1927, the company changed its name in 1989 and is based in Arlington Heights, Illinois. As of September 2000, Arlington International Racecourse, LLC operates as a subsidiary of Churchill Downs Inc.As the HR Manager for Trackside Operations, reported to the General Manager and had complete HR responsibility for employee population of exempt, non exempt and union workers. Full HR Generalist responsibilities (employee relations, recruiting, payroll, benefit administration, performance management and HRIS). Recommended and established programs and procedures to enhance operations. During off peak season also lead OTB facility operations (opening, supervision, work assignments and money room management). A-Fordable Staffing was a contingency and temp to perm agency serving clients in the pharmaceutical and food industries. The company went out of business in 2002.As a recruiter, reported to the Managing Director | Owner. Worked closely with clients to determine hiring needs and engage on recruiting assignments as an extension of their Human Resource organization. Sourced potential candidates via cold calling and online resources. Conducted telephone screens and scheduled interviews. Administered skill assessment tests for Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word and Power Point). Also provided office administrative support by maintaining office supplies, accounts receivable and payroll functions utilizing Quickbooks Pro.

Contract position for a long term leave of absence. Reported to the Principal of Kimball Hill Elementary School (K-6) which enrolled 550 students. Worked with teachers and students. Provided clerical support including phone coverage,attendance reporting system and ensured data integrity within the online information systems.
