Responsibilities were to manage the procurement of Island Textile Mills (Spinning unit) and Tata Best Food Ltd. Development of MRP (Material Requirement Planning) in packing materials purchases. Sourcing, evaluation and induction of new suppliers to make sure the continuous feeding to manufacturing units as per company quality policy / standards. Team building and expediting the team to achieve the targets within time frame. Plan the strategic purchases to keep in view the production plans and requirements.Development of purchase agreement and annual contracts.

Responsibilities are to manage the purchase, control and expediting of subordinates assigned parts or product supply from existing validated suppliers at the optimum price, quality and delivery. Manage the development and validation of new suppliers. Review, negotiate & implement purchase agreement with local & foreign sources. Evaluate the quotations, negotiate and finalized the orders as per requirement of end user & according to company standards. Keep follow-up the delivery of material. Develop & execute the annual contract / services, verification of payment advices of purchased material and make sure to release payments as per agreed due dates. Prepare the weekly payment schedule, maintain the inventory & Re-order level & maintain complete record of sources / suppliers.

Saudi Arabia

Main responsibilities were to supervise the department like generate the international sources, price development, process the orders and letter of credits (LC), follow the shipments and to access the original shipping documents / bank guarantees along with necessary import & clearance permissions from concern ministries as per Saudi Arabia rules for smooth and trouble free custom clearance and to avoid demurrage / penalties / detention. Preparation of monthly cash flow statement, follow payments against each and every delivery. Preparation of inventory reports and forwarded to principals. Arrangement of transportation to deliver the material from port to warehouses and to customers and co-ordination with Al-Khobar, Riyadh, Jeddah and Dubai branches

Responsibilities were to arrange the deliveries of Furnace Oil, Paper sacks, preparation of Purchase Orders, Comparative Statements also handling of Indents and quotations, co-ordination with supplier regarding supply and annual registration and co-ordination between different departments.
