Volunteers Leading Governance (VLG) is a governance model where volunteers play a significant role in leading and managing organizations, particularly non-profits, community groups, or public institutions. The purpose of VLG is to empower citizens to participate in decision-making processes, foster community engagement and ownership, leverage volunteer expertise and skills, promote transparency and accountability, and enhance organizational effectiveness.

G17 UAC University Ambassadors are student representatives selected to promote their university and support its objectives, focusing on sustainability, community engagement, and leadership. As part of this program, ambassadors engage in various activities such as organizing events, mentoring peers, collaborating with faculty and staff, and building partnerships with external organizations. Their role aims to foster community involvement, enhance the university's reputation, develop leadership skills, promote global citizenship, and support the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
