• Presently working as Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Eastern Mediterranean University.• Worked as Associate Professor Adjunct at Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan, and a visiting professor at National University Science and Technology, NUST, Pakistan, International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan.• In 2009, received PhD in Flight Vehicle Design from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, BUAA. Research focused on the application of Modern Meta-Heuristic Optimization Techniques like Genetic Algorithms, Particle Swarm Optimization, and Simulation Annealing for the Multidisciplinary Design & Optimization (MDO) of Aerospace Systems. • M.S. in Space Mission Design from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, BUAA, China in 2006. • Received B.E. in Mechanical from National University of Sciences and Technology, NUST, Pakistan in 2000. • Research interests include Risk Management and Multidisciplinary Design Optimization methods using Artificial Intelligence techniques, Human Factors Engineering and Ergonomic Design, Application of Meta-heuristic Optimization techniques to the problems in other faculties of engineering design.• More than 10 years of experience of industry & academia with strong record of publications in reputed journals & conferences.
