Led the design and implementation of the detection, segmentation, and 3D reconstruction of abdominal aortic aneurysms from CT scans using the U‑Net family of deep learning based segmentation models. The system reached human‑level performance and received Class I medical device CE marking.

As a member of Methusalem project, in my research I focus on investigating the neural basis of perceptual grouping. In particular, I combine psychophysical, fMRI, and machine learning approaches to understand where and how perceptual grouping effects emerge in human visual cortex.
