As a Senior Undergraduate in Civil Engineering, I am passionate about using my skills and knowledge to make a positive impact on society. My experience as a Research Assistant at the Center for Clean Water Technology includes analyzing innovative technologies aimed at improving nitrogen removal in wastewater treatment systems and investigating the transmission of phosphorus from onsite wastewater treatment systems. I have also gained hands-on experience as a Structural Engineer designing a 3-story building and creating a 3D building model in Revit. In addition, I have practical drafting skills from designing a 340-space parking lot site plan using AutoCAD. My research experience includes collaborating with a Ph.D. student in the field of smooth-particle hydrodynamics and conducting research on the absorption of heavy metals by plants and the role of iron in soils. I am skilled in design with AutoCAD and Revit, as well as programming with MATLAB and C++. I am a recipient of the S-STEM ASSETS Scholarship and the Martin Horowitz Memorial Award and have been on the Dean's List.
