Greetings, my name is Qi Jin and I am currently pursuing ACCA to further my qualification in the Accounting field. I am an alumnus of the VU degree program at Sunway University as of the end of 2020 where I have completed my double major of Accounting & Banking and Finance where I am passionate about applying the knowledge that I have learned from my studies and translating it into working experience. My dream is to be a chartered accountant where I aspire to excel in my field of profession. Just of late 2019, I applied for an internship at an audit firm where I had gained 2 months' worth of experience in the field of audit and taxation. Of which I was given the opportunity and exposure to the required accounting expertise that is necessary to strive in such an ever-changing professional environment. A few skill sets over the years that I have adopted are adaptability by engaging myself in constant interaction with different groups of people in a fast-paced environment to assist in the creation of cohesion & unity to achieve the goal and objective of completing group assignments of varying complexity. Moreover, the learning of managing and handling intricate tasks assigned to us during my academic progression ranged from the preparation of reports to client engagement in the resolution of a core issue within their company. As the latin saying, “Tempora mutantur, nos et mutamur in illis”, which translates to the phrase “Time are changed and we change with them”, to continue the pursuit of learning from a challenging environment would certainly be the way of living that we should strive for.
