Current- Played a pivotal role within a 7-member team on developing and maintaining the Medicaid Third Party Liability application for the State of Michigan that recovers hundreds of millions of dollars annually from private insurance companies.- Implemented reliable and scalable Java backend RESTful APIs using Spring Boot, Hibernate for ORM on Oracle database, and Groovy jobs that process over a 100k claims a month and manages 3 million Medicaid members.- Designed and developed dynamic Angular and JSP frontend pages, enabling clients to configure billing processes to nuanced health care business rules, preventing billing errors and significantly minimizing correction tickets.- Implemented comprehensive automated end-to-end tests with Spock, Geb and Selenium to ensure stable releases and prevent regression issues. - Spearheaded a manual Birth Expense Report process into a fully automated job using Oracle scheduler, Groovy, Shell script, and Oracle SQL, saving the client 15 working hours weekly.
