I am currently working as a volunteer business mentor on a 1 year Mentor- Start-up business program, which is responsible for coaching and mentoring nascent entrepreneurs on creating and refining their business concepts.I am coaching a nascent entrepreneur to create services for local market in IT sector. This included setting up realistic goals to achieve, re-defining market segments and creating effective marketing channels to reach out local customers.

This meant delivering a high standard of research with in- depth business analysis which was done in a successful manner.I was also responsible for pilot tests, agent recruitment process, user interface, organising international conferences and synthesising resources.I provided concrete and insightful user preferences through conducting in-depth interviews with focus groups in order to create the user interface for the money transfer service. This led to me to create a process of recruiting point of sales agents for the money transfer service in Spain, Sweden and London.In order for this to work I developed an incentive model to encourage clients to use savings services at microfinance institutes on the receiving end.In addition to the above, I coordinated and organised successful conferences on remittances, microfinance and investments in Jönköping, Sweden and London in the processes, gathering international entrepreneurs, researchers and practitioners to participate.As a business developer and marketing analyst, I was responsible for the collection and analysis of money transfer services data, customer preferences and behaviours towards low-cost money transfer services. In order for this to be a success I led and managed the project in conjunction with an outsourced IT team to develop the prototype for Disapora Link online money transfer service.From a marketing aspect and as the marketing project leader, I planned marketing activities of recruiting agents in Stockholm, Sweden and Spain. I initiated a start-up and developed an organisation to establish marketing services to promote Swedish Education to Vietnam, India, Eastern Europe and Vietnamese tourism to the Swedish market. This involved me having to establish international connections using my own knowledge and experience of the business markets and cultures.

I played an instrumental role as a member of a Spider project team providing ICT Support for the Formation of Business Relations between Sweden and Vietnam based on Immigrant Competencies. In this role I was responsible for initiating contacts with potential Swedish entrepreneurs having Vietnamese background and exploring and structuring a business model categorising competencies of Swedes and Vietnamese backgrounds.
