Umeå School of Business, Economics & Statistics (USBE) is known for its high quality of education, research, interaction with external stakeholders and its strong focus on internationalization and sustainable development. We are AACSB accreditated, ISO14001 certified, members of the Global Business School Netwwork (GBSN) and advanced participant, signatory of the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). USBE is a university integrated business school located at Umeå University Campus. The campus offers the students an interactive learning environment and good opportunities to meet and socialize with students from other programs. USBE was founded in 1989, but our education and research dates back to 1966, the same year as Umeå University was founded. The Umeå University Campus is centrally located on walking or biking distance from the city center, the airport and sports- and cultural facilities. USBE has about 170 employees including 90 Faculty members and 16 Full professors. Around 4000 students study in our programs every year. The areas of research and teaching are in Business Administration, Economics and Statistics.
