Responsibilities included:- Overseeing the conceptualisation, organisation and execution of the Singapore showcase at Milan Design Week, to elevate Singapore’s branding and profile local talent.- Curatorial assistant to internationally renowned curators and part of on-site team in Milan overseeing showcase setup, launch and execution as well as organisation of key tentpole activities including opening, press preview and networking activities.- Facilitating effective cross-functional collaboration among internal and external stakeholders to drive synergies and maximise impact from the showcase.—Led DesignSingapore Council’s flagship grant programme enabling Singapore designers and enterprises to innovate for impact:- Responsible for end-to-end organisation and execution of 2 multi-phase Good Design Research Grant Calls, each spanning a 6-month timeline. - Active project management to ensure timely completion of multiple phases and critical milestones, including participant outreach, stakeholder journey mapping, jury evaluation and grant award.- Successfully secured 8 design challenge sponsors across 3 grant calls, leveraging on targeted engagement with C-suite executives and senior business leaders to expand the programme's reach and foster business opportunities for designers.—Spearheaded reviews and implemented process improvement initiatives, including industry mapping, internationalisation strategy development as well as refining internal frameworks providing industry support.
